Poseidon’s Fury officially closed on May 10, 2023 after operating since the opening day of Universal Islands of Adventure.
Poseidon’s Fury has always been regarded as an innovative special effects show, albeit with some overwhelming technical difficulty issues, but it is still impressive as it was when it first opened. However, the original plot of Poseidon’s Fury was changed and now it is a walkthrough, led by an archaeologist. When Darkanon, an evil god-like entity, captures your group, Poseidon comes to the rescue to defeat him. Poseidon’s Fury still draws big crowds more or less due to the mystery of what goes on behind its giant walls.
