Dining in Hogsmeade
Dining at Universal Orlando theme parks was rather weak before The Wizarding World of Harry Potter debuted, but when Three Broomsticks opened its doors the quality of food at Universal changed for the good. Even better, Hog’s Head Pub was put right beside Three Broomsticks offering a selection of beers, the most prominent being the Hog’s Head, which can’t be purchased anywhere else.
Three Broomsticks
Three Broomsticks set a new standard for dining at Universal Orlando Resort with its fresh, delicious menu that shows off English pub fare such as fish and chips, shepherd’s pie, Cornish pasties and a “Great Feast Platter”. For dessert you can try the wildly popular strawberry and peanut butter ice cream that the characters enjoy in the books. Three Broomsticks is incredibly detailed and themed in the same way as the Wizarding World, but don’t plan on coming in and just sitting down. Tables are reserved for only those who are eating at the restaurant.
Hog’s Head Pub
To the right of Three Broomsticks is the Hog’s Head Pub. Inside the Hog’s Head you will find a bar that serves English and American beers on tap, Butterbeer as well as pumpkin juice. The specialty beer of the pub is the Hog’s Head, which can only be found inside. Keep an eye on the hog’s head that is hanging behind the bar as well. Every once in a while it might decide to move and snarl.
