There are few things in life I enjoy more than vintage shopping. Whether that’s exploring the endless aisles of a giant antique mall (shoutout to my local Orange Tree Antiques Mall – you must visit next time you’re in Orlando!), discovering smaller vintage boutiques while traveling, or digging through the trenches of eBay and other secondhand apps… I’m embarrassed to admit just how much time I spend looking for specific hard-to-find vintage items, and for a reasonable deal at that.
I’m pleased to share some of my fun finds with you, dear reader. Being that we’re all Universal fans here, my lists will feature vintage Universal Studios memorabilia. To be honest, I’d much rather put my pennies towards a vintage souvenir than pick up something at the parks today. For typically the same price point, the quality is usually a bit better and they’re oozing with nostalgic theme park memories. I’ll showcase a few of my handpicked favorites that are available to purchase online (if I haven’t already added it to my cart, that is). They just don’t make them like they used to, you know? Here’s my first batch of selections… Action!
My first find has lived on in my eBay watchlist for some time now. One in this good of condition is pretty hard to come by, hence the higher price for a small vintage souvenir. But look at little Frankie! My love for vintage theme park buttons runs strong. I love adding them to my backpack, tote bag, lanyard, or jacket!

Reminisce on the Lost Continent that once was with this dark-washed tie-dye Dueling Dragons tee! There are quite a few vintage DD designs out there, but the inclusion of the castle along with the dramatic art style makes this a standout for me. (I may or may not already have this in my wardrobe) The real question is… are you going with Fire or Ice? Choose thy fate.

Hello, I’m Steven Spielberg. What better way to show off our love for E.T. and commemorate saving his green planet than picking up this super-reasonably priced attraction poster? Even better, this one also represents Hollywood’s now-defunct version.

Last up for today is this round souvenir tile featuring a little bit of everything from Universal Studios Florida’s opening year. Ah, 1990 had it all: Jaws, Ghostbusters, Back to the Future, and Nick Studios, just to name a few. How cute is that King Kong?

That’s a wrap! Let me know if you’d like to see anything specific in the future for my upcoming digs. Happy hunting!
