Universal Studios Hollywood has announced another maze for Halloween Horror Nights and it’s an exciting one – Insidious: Beyond the Further! The maze will be will be inspired by Insidious: Chapter 4, which will be released in theaters on January 5, 2018. Now, it’s not entirely abnormal for Halloween Horror Nights to create a house on a movie that hasn’t been released yet, it is very surprising considering Halloween Horror Nights ends 2 months before the movie is out in theaters.

Universal describes the house as follows:

The creepy new maze will delve deep into brilliant parapsychologist Dr. Elise Rainier’s past, starting with a childhood in which her paranormal abilities emerged…until her mother’s untimely death by a demonic entity.  Troubled by a lifetime of evil supernatural spirits trapped in the Further—a vacuous netherworld caught between the living and the dead—Dr. Rainier will take guests on an unsettling journey back in time through a portal into the Further…to defy the most depraved and intimidating beings that have tormented her since the 1950s.

Insidious: Beyond the Further will open at Halloween Horror Nights on September 15 along with American Horror Story: Roanoke, The Shining, Ash vs Evil Dead, SAW: The Games of Jigsaw, Titans of Terror, and one more unannounced house.
