In the most recent Universal Orlando annual passholder newsletter, a brand-new Jurassic World-inspired Raptor Encounter was announced. While the Raptor Encounter has been in the park since 2015, the enclosed animatronic raptor’s design will now be based on the Jurassic World films. Some are speculating that the raptor will be designed after Blue, the female Velociraptor from 2015’s Jurassic World and this year’s Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom.
The experience will be in the current location of the Raptor Encounter at Universal’s Islands of Adventure park between Jurassic Park Discovery Center and Camp Jurassic. Here guests will have the opportunity to interact and take their picture with the new raptor.
Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom will be in theaters on June 22.
