Strong Water Tavern concept art was released a while back, but new details have actually emerged about the restaurant. Strong Water Tavern is being considered “a destination lobby lounge” that will serve a tapas-style menu for lunch and dinner. Daily rum tastings will also be available for those of age.

Drhum Club Kantine is the poolside bar and grill serving freshly-prepared food and a variety of specialty drinks, while New Dutch Trading Co. will be the quick-service marketplace.

Loews Sapphire Falls Resort offers great benefits for staying onsite, including Early Park Admission to The Wizarding World of Harry Potter and complimentary water taxi service and shuttle bus transportation to Universal CityWalk and the theme parks. Because of the resort’s moderate status, complimentary Universal Express will not be offered and remains a perk for only the deluxe onsite hotels.

Value season rates will start at $119 per night for a seven-night stay or $143 per night for a four-night stay. Summer season rates will start at $176 per night for a seven-night stay or $206 per night for a four-night stay. Brandon Krementz priced out one-night rates for summer and value seasons. Summer one-night stays on weekdays are running $229 and weekends are running $249. September one-night stays are much more reasonable at $179.

Overall, it seems like Loews Sapphire Falls Resort will be a great addition to Loews Hotels at Universal Orlando Resort and should be a relaxing Caribbean getaway.
