Universal Orlando’s Cinematic Celebration Permanently Ends

Universal Orlando’s Cinematic Celebration, the nighttime lagoon fountain show, has ended its run. Universal’s official response is the show has closed to make way for a new nighttime show experience that will debut at Universal Studios Florida in the future. There are no details about what the new nighttime show will be. The show’s closure wasn’t previously announced making it impossible for fans to have one last viewing.

The fountain technology was also used during Halloween Horror Nights as well other special occasions. The lagoon show for Halloween Horror Nights 2022 ended its run early due to complications from Hurricane Ian. Stay tuned for more updates on the Cinematic Celebration replacement.
