The Awesomest Celebration of the Season will return to Universal Studios Hollywood this November and running through to the new year! Christmas in The Wizarding World of Harry Potter and Grinchmas will return daily starting Friday, November 25, 2022 through Sunday, January 1, 2023. The best part is ALL of the festivities are included with your admission to Universal Studios Hollywood!
The heart of the theme park, Universal Plaza, will be the home for the Grinchmas Who-bilation. This includes a topsy-turvy 65-foot tall Grinchmas tree decorated with thousands of lights and hundreds of ornaments. You’ll want to be there in the evening for the lighting ceremony featuring the Grinch and Whos telling the story of the Grinch. The celebration ends with a snowball flurry.
The Grinch and Max will be available for photo opportunities throughout the day. Cindy-Lou Who leads story time for young visitors and the Who-ville post office will accept holiday postcards. No celebration would be possible without sweet treats and merchandise.
Christmas in The Wizarding World of Harry Potter transforms Hogsmeade into a wonderland with festive decor, Hot Butterbeer, and a special performance from the Frog Choir. Exclusive merchandise will be available as well as holiday fare at Three Broomsticks. Hogwarts Castle will come alive at night with The Magic of Christmas at Hogwarts Castle projection show.
Beyond the parks, Universal CityWalk will be dressed in special decor with the focus being on a 40 foot-tall Christmas tree. Voodoo Doughnut will add new seasonal flavors to celebrate the holidays.
