Cabana Bay gets a ’60s Christmas Overlay

Cabana Bay Beach Resort is celebrating its first Christmas in a big way with a holiday overlay that has taken over the lobby and main building. Silver trees and garland have been dusted off and adorned throughout the ’60s themed resort. The lobby features the tallest tree of the bunch complete with presents underneath, as well as five smaller trees in the main sitting area.

IMG_0802The Universal Studio Store and its windows are decorated simply and stocked with a decent selection of holiday merchandise.

It would’ve been a nice touch to play ’60s Christmas specials on the massive televisions in the seating area, but the decorations are better than nothing.

IMG_0757Cabana Bay Beach Resort went all out for their first Christmas and hopefully next year there is even more, but the best way to really experience it is to see it yourself. If you’re going to be in Orlando this Christmas, I highly recommend making a stop at Universal Orlando and Cabana Bay to get in the holiday spirit!
