Hooligan’s Grog & Gruel at How to Train Your Dragon – Isle of Berk in Epic Universe

Much unlike the "tough and tasteless food" Berk is known for in the How to Train Your Dragon films, there is some top-notch theme park fare to try out in this all-new land!

Hooligan’s Grog & Gruel is a quick-service food counter located in the How to Train Your Dragon – Isle of Berk area at Universal Epic Universe, set to open on May 22nd, 2025. This dining spot is themed around the exhilarating sport of dragon racing, a favorite pastime of Berk’s Viking residents.

Hooligan’s Grog & Gruel is situated along the left side of Berk, near the Viking Training Camp playground. It offers a convenient stop for anyone seeking a quick and hearty meal during their dragon training adventures, and is the ONLY place to get these delicious Mac & Cheese bread cones! There’s also some refreshing beverages served here, including the land’s Coca-Cola Freestyle Machines also located just next to the counter on the right side.

There are benches and ledges offering some nearby seating, but these cones and beverages are easy on-the-go selections as you explore the area. Let’s take a look at the menus!
