Universal Orlando’s Epic Universe officially opens on May 22nd and preview dates were just extended all the way until May 19th. Preview tickets can be purchased by Universal Orlando Annual Passholders, Universal Orlando hotel guests, Universal Rewards Visa Cardholders, and as an add-on ticket to Military Freedom tickets.
Not only are the wait times low during this preview period, but the park feels wide-open, allowing for great photo ops; there are no lines, and plenty of seats at all of the restaurants, and character interactions are abundant and intimate. But most importantly, this is a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity! A major theme park has not opened in the United States in over 25 years. Epic Universe is exceeding expectations, and this brand-new theme park will never be like this ever again.
You might be thinking to yourself, but what if I’m not an Annual Passholder or have a Universal Visa? You should book a hotel stay at any of Universal’s 11 hotels. Epic Universe preview tickets for hotel guests currently have not sold out for any date. Even better, you can purchase an Epic Universe preview ticket for any future date. The purchased ticket does not have to coincide with your hotel stay. For example, you could stay at Universal Cabana Bay Beach Resort May 10th – May 11th and purchase a ticket for the following Saturday, May 17th.
After checking into your Universal hotel, head to the Ticket Services desk in the lobby, hand the team member your room key, and select which date you would like to visit Epic Universe. Just keep in mind that each person you’re purchasing a ticket for must have an active room key with their name on it. The Epic Universe ticket is non-transferable and will be printed with the guest’s name. Epic Universe preview tickets for hotel guests are $169 plus tax.
