- 2026 Universal Mardi Gras Food & Beverage Card
You may typically think of Mardi Gras as being a New Orleans celebration with plenty of Cajun and Creole food but the over 40 menus items inspired by carnaval in countries like Brazil really make it feel like an international party. And don’t worry, you can still have your gumbo, beignets, and king cake too!
If you’re visiting Universal Studios Florida between now and April 4th, you really must try as many of these food items as you can. It’s some of the best “quick service” food you can find at Universal and the range of options is incredible. Check out the full menus and pricing below plus some must-have items!
New York – Gramercy Park

NOLA Bayou

Baked Cajun Mac & Cheese – cavatappi pasta with andouille sausage and holy trinity, toasted in a spicy Cajun cream sauce with scallions – $11.49
Fried Oyster Po’boy – flash fried oysters with tomatoes, lettuce, pickles, and Cajun remoulade – $12.99
Fried Green Tomato Po’boy – flash fried green tomatoes, lettuce, onions, pickles, and Cajun remoulade – $12.49
Category 5 Punch – Cruzan dark rum, Myers’ dark rum, lime juice, orange juice, passion fruit syrup, simple syrup, and grenadine – $16 Krewe Cup, $13 Krewe Cup Refill, $14 single serve
Abita Mardi Gras Bock – $11.75

New Orleans

Beignets – traditional New Orleans pillowy pastry bites, fried and dredged in powdered sugar – $7.99
King Cake – Mardi Gras cake with cinnamon swirl icing, sprinkles, and Mardi Gras baby – $7.49
King Cake Espresso Martini – New Amsterdam vodka, JF Haden’s espresso liqueur, king cake syrup, and brewed coffee – $18
Abita Mardi Gras Bock – $11.75

The beignets and the king cake are both must try items! The beignets are a little more similar to what you would find in New Orleans and are served four to a bag. Don’t forget to shake the bag for the ultimate powdered sugar ratio! They’re served hot and go down way too quick. The king cake is absolutely delicious but is nothing like a Mardi Gras king cake. Think of a cake texture maybe more similar to a pound cake. Go into this expecting a really good, sweet cake that would pair perfectly with a cup of coffee.
Bourbon Street Snacks
Chicken & Sausage Gumbo – hearty stew of chicken, holy trinity (sautéed bell pepper, onion, and celery) , andouille sausage, bacon, and dark gravy (roux), served on top of white rice, and garnished with scallions – $9.99

Category 5 Punch – – $15 Krewe Cup, $12 Krewe Cup Refill, $13 single serve
Abita Mardi Gras Bock – $11.75
Don’t miss the Chicken & Sausage Gumbo and Red Beans & Rice! Both have serious kick and are hearty! The flavor in both dishes is impressive for a theme park.

The Transformers Bar is just one location where you can purchase your Mardi Gras souvenir cup or refill it. This particular bar has draft beer and four different frozen daiquiris just like you would find on Bourbon Street.

The Verlasso Salmon is insanely good and some of the best salmon I’ve ever had. It melts in your mouth and has a wonderful buttery, smoky flavor. The fresh herb salsa is basically a chimichurri that goes so well with both the potatoes and salmon. This has to be the best dish at Mardi Gras and you won’t want to share it!
