UPDATE 10:30: Power is still out. All of Simpson’s area is dark and guests are not permitted to walk there. Both Scarecrow and Hive houses have been closed.

The power is currently out in a large section of the park tonight at Universal Orlando making Halloween Horror Nights quite a bit more creepy than usual. It’s been out for about 20-minutes at the time of this post which is 10:00 p.m. Eastern.
We’re not sure what the cause of the outage is currently, but we’ll update this post when we know more.
