Awhile back there was a rumor that the popular STARZ Original Series Ash vs Evil Dead would find its way to Halloween Horror Nights 27 and that has now been confirmed! The follow-up series to the original Evil Dead film will join The Shining and American Horror Story when the event launches beginning September 15 at Universal Studios Florida.

Universal has also released a complete description of the house!

The “Ash vs Evil Dead” maze will transport guests into the town of Elk Grove, Mich., where they will encounter Deadites – people or objects possessed by evil demons – that have been unwittingly unleashed by Ash Williams – again.  Throughout the maze, guests will come face-to-face with disturbing characters and iconic comedic and gory scenes from seasons 1 and 2 as they desperately try to escape all things evil…before itÂ’s too late.

While the house sounds like it could be terrifying, it should be well-balanced with a ton of comedy, as it is in The Evil Dead sequels and the television series. Look for this house at Universal Studios Florida and Universal Studios Hollywood this Halloween season, and stay tuned for more Halloween Horror Nights updates!
