The fifth original Haunted House has officially been announced for Universal Orlando’s Halloween Horror Nights event: GÁLKN: Monsters of the North. Here’s the story for the original house:
In a remote northern village, a wicked being rises from the dead, bringing a horde of monsters and demons from the fjords to wreak havoc on the townspeople. You’ll face icy, horned, winged and wolfish fiends that gradually merge into one giant horror. Then you’ll try to escape the belly of the beast.

— All signs point to THIS being the coolest house!
GÁLKN joins the lineup of previously-announced haunted houses, including originals Grave of Flesh, Dolls: Let’s Play Dead, Hatchet & Chains: Demon Bounty Hunters, and El Artista: A Spanish Haunting, alongside highly-anticipated blockbusters including Jason Universe based on the Friday the 13th franchise, and Fallout, based on the popular video game and Amazon Prime show.
With Orlando’s typical lineup of 10 haunted houses, we have three more house announcements to go. It’s likely the remaining three are more intellectual properties. We’re also anticipating the event’s overall theme, scare zones and entertainment news! Stay tuned for more.
The 34th annual Halloween Horror Nights will take place at Universal Studios Florida from August 29th through November 2nd, 2025. Single day tickets, single day Express Passes, R.I.P. Tours, and Premium Scream Night tickets are on sale now – book your tickets here!
