Annual passholders at Universal Orlando can now sign up to throw beads from parade floats during this year’s Mardi Gras celebration according to the Orlando Sentinel,

An email was sent to passholders with a link that explained the restrictions and details of the bead throwing experience. Those who want to participate have to be at least 18 years old and at least 48 inches tall. Universal will randomly select those who sign up to participate three days in advance. Once passholders are selected to participate, Universal will put the passholders into spots on the floats based upon their group size and on a first come, first serve basis. Spots are filling up fast as some dates are already at capacity. Additionally, passholders can sign up five additional people for the bead throwing experience.

Universal’s 2017 Mardi Gras celebration will feature parades for 50 consecutive nights starting Saturday, February 4th, through March 25th.
