Universal Orlando recently announced 2026 Mardi Gras dates, and if you’re someone who believes February is only tolerable with good food and loud music, this is your season. From February 7 to April 4, 2026, Universal Studios Florida will transform into a full-blown Carnaval takeover with nightly glittering parades, bead-throwing chaos, street performers who never seem to run out of energy, and food stalls that will absolutely derail any attempt at “eating light.” That’s right – the global flavors and New Orleans staples are back, because it’s not Mardi Gras without something spicy, fried, or covered in powdered sugar. And the best part? It’s all included in your regular park admission!
For those looking to level up the experience, the Mardi Gras Float Ride and Dine Experience returns for 2026. This add-on includes a three-course meal (one appetizer, entrée, dessert, and a non-alcoholic beverage) at one of five participating restaurants: The Cowfish Sushi Burger Bar, NBC Sports Grill & Brew, Lombard’s Seafood Grille, Confisco Grille (with a 2-Park ticket including Islands of Adventure), or Antojitos Authentic Mexican Restaurant. After dining, participants secure a reserved spot on a Mardi Gras parade float and take part in the bead-tossing tradition as the procession winds through the park!

The Float Ride and Dine Experience is available now, starting at $94.99 plus tax per person. Reservations can be made by calling 407-224-7554 or visiting the Universal Orlando Mardi Gras webpage. Universal Orlando Passholders receive a 15% discount when purchasing online, at the Front Gate, at in-park Guest Services locations (valid Pass and photo ID required), or by phone.
All Mardi Gras offerings are included with regular admission to Universal Studios Florida or with a valid Universal Orlando Annual or Seasonal Pass, though blockout dates may apply. Additional details – including the full food lineup and the 2026 concert schedule – will be announced soon.
