There’s always something happening at Orlando’s theme parks, and Universal just announced an exciting 2025 lineup of events… in addition to their all-new theme park Epic Universe opening in May. The recently-released schedule confirms the 34th year of Halloween Horror Nights kicking off in August, as well as introducing a new nighttime event at Volcano Bay. Let’s take a look!
- Rock the Universe – January 24th & 25th
- Universal Mardi Gras – February 1st – March 30th
- Universal Volcano Bay Nights – April 19th, 26th & May 3rd, 10th, 17th
- Halloween Horror Nights 34 – August 29th – November 2nd (select nights)
- Holidays at Universal – November 21st – December 31st

Universal Mardi Gras: International Flavors of Carnaval celebrates their 30th year – happening February 1st through March 30th. Let the good times roll all while dining on international cuisine from across the globe, watching a spectacular parade with dazzling floats and enjoying live concerts from some of the biggest names in music. This year’s concert lineup includes T-Pain, Joe Jonas, All Time Low and more.
Halloween Horror Nights returns earlier than ever before on select nights, beginning August 29th through November 2nd. This is were you can face terrifying haunted houses inspired by cinematic greats and eerie original stories, sinister scare zones, live entertainment, exclusive merchandise and themed food and beverage items at the world’s premier Halloween event. We can’t wait to see what’s in store for this year!

Holidays at Universal begins November 21 and will run daily through December 31. Celebrate the most wonderful time of the year with an incredible collection of festive experiences – like the Christmas in The Wizarding World of Harry Potter and a chance to meet the mean, green one himself – the Grinch – during Grinchmas. Admire festive décor across the destination and dine on delicious, holiday-themed food and beverage offerings.
Universal will share more information in the future covering the all-new Universal Volcano Bay Nights happening in April and May. This is exciting for us Volcano Bay fans, as this park was built with a fantastic nighttime lighting package and is rarely open past sundown.
Are you planning to visit for any of these events at Universal Orlando Resort? I can’t wait to see what’s in store for the 34th year of Halloween Horror Nights… or what Dark Universe will look like for the Halloween season.
