Cat Lady Scare Zone Coming to Halloween Horror Nights

Following this week’s first two scare zone announcements for the 34th year of Halloween Horror Nights at Universal Orlando Resort, another has just dropped promptly at 10:34 AM: The Cat Lady of Crooked Lane.

Travel down a spooky winding path to a mysterious home, where trick-or-treaters are transformed into feral felines. Be careful or you’ll be next.

Cat Lady Scare Zone Coming to Halloween Horror Nights

Talk about a crazy cat lady, am I right? The artwork is reminiscent of a classic Trick or Treat bag with cat eyes glowing around the retro block font, and two children (dressed as a sheet ghost and Frankenstein’s Monster, respectively) walking along a jack-o-lantern-lit path leading up to an ominous home sitting in the background. A glowing green cauldron is found on the front porch, and a jumping cat silhouette over a full moon.

There are also glowing pumpkins in the trees, which suggests this scare zone will most likely be located in the Central Park area, which consists of a mostly-straight path underneath trees.

What Else is Coming to Halloween Horror Nights 2025?

This year’s haunted house lineup includes originals GƁLKN: Monsters of the North, Grave of Flesh, Dolls: Let’s Play Dead, Hatchet & Chains: Demon Bounty Hunters, and El Artista: A Spanish Haunting, alongside highly-anticipated blockbusters including Art the Clown killing his way through a Terrifier-themed funhouse, Jason Universe based on the Friday the 13th franchise, and Fallout, based on the popular video game and Amazon Prime show.

Five Nights at Freddy’s has also been announced. We can assume this is another haunted house, but there were no further details given at the time of the June 2nd announcement: “Five Nights at Freddy’s is coming in a whole new way… More details coming soon.”

With Orlando’s typical lineup of 10 haunted houses, we still have two more official house announcements to go. We’re also anticipating more scare zones and entertainment news! Stay tuned!
