The Fast and Furious film franchise is one of the most lucrative ever for Universal. The movies are insanely popular with the seventh and eighth installments bringing in over one billion dollars each at the box office! Considering the financial returns from the series, it only made sense for Universal to capitalize in their theme parks leading to Fast & Furious: Supercharged. The attraction originally debuted as part of the Universal Studios Hollywood Tram Tour before making its way to Universal Studios Florida in San Francisco.
