The Walking Dead returns to Halloween Horror Nights… again.

In a move that surprises no one, but disappoints mega-HHN fans, The Walking Dead will return for Halloween Horror Nights 25. The hugely popular AMC zombie show debuted at Halloween Horror Nights back in 2012 and has gotten bigger each year – completely taking over the event in 2013.

This year, The Walking Dead house will be based on season 5 of the hit show, which wrapped up in March. Season 5 of the show was by far the weakest season since it debuted on television back in 2010. Still, the show’s ratings are massive and record-breaking, and it makes perfect sense for Universal to continue the partnership.

There is no doubt that bringing The Walking Dead back to Halloween Horror Nights won’t help make the special 25th anniversary of the event the biggest one yet. However, for those of us out there that are completely over the show and seeing it at HHN, this is the worst news ever.
