The show that kicked of the Hogwarts Castle projections is finally returning to Universal Studios Hollywood. After a very successful run last summer, The Nighttime Lights at Hogwarts Castle will be welcomed back to The Wizarding World of Harry Potter on weekends in March and then daily March 24-31, 2018! The projection show is a spirit rally of sorts for the four houses of Hogwarts and channels the majesty and wonder of Harry Potter. The show recently had its debut on the east coast at The Wizarding World of Harry Potter – Hogsmeade during A Celebration of Harry Potter 2018 and it is definitely a spectacle that you have to see in person to fully appreciate. The Nighttime Lights at Hogwarts Castle will happen on March 3, 4, 10, 11, 17, 18, and the 24-31.
Maybe it’s because I’m only seeing the video and not in person, but I was underwhelmed. They really seemed to just focus on Nagini. Where was Fawkes, Hedwig, the Hippegriff, the Dementors, spells? I think they all could have been incorporated into that very easily.
