Jimmy Buffett’s Margaritaville is one of the busiest restaurants at Universal CityWalk Orlando and every other location is immensely popular. So, it made perfect sense when the restaurant decided to become “Universal bi-coastal” and set up an establishment at Universal CityWalk Hollywood.
Jimmy Buffett himself was on hand to celebrate the occasion along with hundreds of Parrotheads. Opening the first Margaritaville in California is no small feat. Regarding the restaurant, Jimmy Buffet said, “I walked onto the site of CityWalk when it was still under construction, and my first thought was ‘I want a Margaritaville here.’ Thanks to the great folks at Universal, we made it. It’s great to play at the opening and I look forward to visiting regularly on my journeys to the West Coast. Fins Up!”
This is just the latest change to Universal CityWalk Hollywood’s transformation.
