It’s summertime, the perfect season for water park adventures, and there’s no better place to make a splash at Universal Orlando Resort than Volcano Bay. With the sun blazing and tropical vibes all around, you’ll want a refreshing break between rides. That’s where the Waturi Fusion comes in. This colorful, fruity soft-serve isn’t just delicious, it’s the ultimate way to cool off, recharge, and treat yourself while soaking up everything Volcano Bay has to offer.
What Is Waturi Fusion?
Waturi Fusion is a unique, rainbow-colored soft-serve that blends banana, blue raspberry, orange, and strawberry flavors. It’s sold exclusively at Koka Poroka Ice Cream Kona, located in Wave Village near the front of the park.
Waturi Fusion is served in a cup ($6.49) or waffle cone ($6.99), and you could add Oreo crumbs or rainbow sprinkles for $1.29 each, but I find toppings rather unnecessary for this work of art. This rainbow treat is delicious as it is photogenic, trust me!
While you taste each of the fruity flavors infused together, the banana flavor really shines until the end. So, if you’re a fan of the banana runt candy flavor (which they say is based on the original flavor of natural bananas from some time ago…), you’ll LOVE Waturi Fusion.
For me, it’s not a complete Volcano Bay day until I’ve had my Waturi Fusion. It’s an essential part of the experience.
Even after enjoying a few licks, it still looks like a watercolor masterpiece!
When to Grab One
– Take a relaxing break from the thrills with a cool-down treat in the shade or by the wave pool during or after lunching hours.
– End of day: It’s the perfect final stop on your way out as you walk back to the shuttle stop or Cabana Bay; sweet, refreshing, and totally worth the wait!
