More late night water park fun?! Yes, please. Universal has just announced the extension of their popular Volcano Bay Nights after hours event. Tickets will go on sale soon.
The event kicked off earlier this year, happening select Saturday nights in April and May. Now, the event has been extended to take place on Friday nights throughout September and October 2025:
- September 5, 12, 19, 26
- October 3, 10, 17, 24, 31
(This would make a great pairing with a fall trip to Universal… with or without Halloween Horror Nights!)
Volcano Bay Nights | What’s Included
The limited-capacity event invites attendees to enjoy favorite water attractions, live entertainment, DreamWorks character meet & greets, complimentary island treats and more at the lush, tropical oasis.
The separately ticketed event was priced at $99 per person earlier this year, and included:
- Enjoy your favorite Volcano Bay water slides and attractions with lower waits
- Take a break from the thrills and dance at beach bash with a live DJ happening along Waturi Beach, or take part in nostalgic games like hula hoop and limbo under the park’s iconic 200-foot Krakatau volcano.
- Meet your favorite DreamWorks character, including Shrek & Fiona, Puss in Boots & Kitty Soft Pawsfrom Shrek, King Julien and Alex from Madagascar, and Poppy, Branch and Guy Diamond from Trolls
- Complimentary treats will be available, including Spicy Island Shrimp and Cheesy Cliffside Seashell Pasta.
- Enjoy more than 100 drink choices and refills throughout the event with Coca-Cola® beverages in a complimentary Volcano Bay Freestyle Souvenir Cup.

- Parking for the event is included in admission
Attendees can arrive as early as 4PM to enjoy the park ahead of the exclusive event, beginning at 7PM and concluding at 10PM. Universal Orlando Passholders receive a 10% discount off the ticketed price of the experience with a valid Annual or Seasonal Pass and valid photo ID.
