The Universal Orlando Resort just announced that they’re opening a brand new restaurant located between VIVO Italian Kitchen and Jimmy Buffett’s Margaritaville on the edge of the lagoon in CityWalk this summer.

Bigfire will be a two-story full-service restaurant and the atmosphere is described as a highly-themed, grand lake-side lodge. Inside, diners will find a relaxing atmosphere with a cozy fireplace that’s complete with plaid throws and cast iron features. There will also be an indoor patio with a fire pit.

Different types of wood will be used in the open-fire preparation of their menu items for smokey flavor. Classic American dishes such as the Bigfire bison burger, chili and cocoa rubbed steak, seafood, and smoked salads are in the works for the menu. The custom-built wood fire grill will be located right in the middle of the restaurant allowing guests to watch as their meals are being prepared. Baked Alaska is one of the featured dessert items!
