As the days grow warmer at Universal’s Florida and California parks, it can only mean one thing… it’s time to enjoy a nice frozen cup of Butterbeer! Round up your Hogwarts housemates, as Butterbeer Season soon returns to Hogsmeade at Islands of Adventure and Diagon Alley at Universal Studios Florida, as well as The Wizarding World of Harry Potter at Universal Studios Hollywood. The festivities kick off on Saturday, March 1st and continues daily through Saturday, May 31st, 2025.
This dedicated, annual tradition invites everyone to enjoy all things Butterbeer; the scrumptious beverage reminiscent of butterscotch and shortbread. While the choice treat of wizard and witches is always available for purchase at Universal’s parks in hot, cold and frozen form, as well as Butterbeer fudge, potted cream and ice cream; new limited-time treats and bespoke merchandise will take centerstage as part of this year’s Butterbeer Season.
NEW For Butterbeer Season 2025
This year’s celebration at Universal Studios Hollywood and Universal Orlando Resort will introduce an all-new Butterbeer Cream Puff just for the season, available at the Three Broomsticks, where you can also savor frozen or cold Butterbeer in a limited-edition Gold Souvenir Stein.
A Butterbeer-Flavoured Chocolate Bar and Butterbeer Caramel will be available at retail locations. Additionally, the Ice Lolly frozen dessert makes a delicious return – and will now be available year-round!
A bespoke Butterbeer themed merchandise collection offers wizard, witches AND muggles a chance to celebrate their theme park visit. Items include apparel such as a plaid shirt, zipped fleece hoodie and t-shirt, as well as accessories including a crossbody bag, caps, socks and more.
