According to a complaint filed on May 25, Elena Machette alleges that on July 3, 2014 she was struck on her forehead by a bolt from Doctor Doom’s FearFall. Machette was waiting in line when the incident happened. The suit also claims that Universal “shut down the ride” and Machette suffered severe permanent injuries.

Machette is saying that Universal “allegedly failed to maintain its premises in a reasonably safe condition, failed to ensure that all bolts were properly secured and failed to warn patrons of falling objects.”
