If you’re spending the Fourth of July at Universal Orlando Resort, you’ll find plenty of ways to celebrate across the destination. From patriotic entertainment and live music to character meet and greets, nighttime spectaculars, and fireworks, special Independence Day festivities will take place at Epic Universe, Universal Studios Florida, and CityWalk.
Whether you’re planning to spend the day exploring the parks or simply want to end the evening with a fireworks display, here’s what Universal has planned for July 4:
Universal Epic Universe
If you’re spending Independence Day at Epic Universe, festivities begin at 5:00 PM in Celestial Park.
- Patriotic stilt walkers will make appearances throughout the evening, followed by live entertainment at the Hemisphere Stage featuring a DJ and special performers.
- The night wraps up with a Fourth of July fireworks display at 9:00 PM over the Cosmos Fountain near Universal Helios Grand Hotel.
- After the fireworks, guests can stick around for the park’s regular Universal Celestial Goodnight fountain show at 10:00 PM.
Universal Studios Florida
Over at Universal Studios Florida, Fourth of July entertainment begins at 5:15 PM and continues through park close.
- Music Plaza will host a live DJ, patriotic performers, and stilt walkers throughout the evening, with select character meet and greets also taking place later in the night.
- Guests can also catch two of the park’s signature nighttime offerings, with the Universal Mega Movie Parade stepping off at 6:00 PM and CineSational: A Symphonic Spectacular beginning at 9:00 PM.
- Once CineSational concludes, Universal will cap off the evening with a brief Fourth of July fireworks display over the lagoon at 10:00 PM.
Universal CityWalk
The celebration continues at Universal CityWalk, where guests can enjoy live entertainment throughout the evening.
- The musical group American Sirens takes the stage beginning at 5:00 PM, followed by a DJ at 8:00 PM. Patriotic performers and stilt walkers will also be roaming CityWalk during the festivities.
