Nestled in the lobby of Universal Terra Luna Resort, Luna Bar offers a menu of array of traditional beverages alongside unique cocktails and mocktails with a galactic twist. For this DIS Unlimited Happy Hour, we’re taking you along for a few of the lunar libations we tried out; giving you a sneak peek into what makes this a great spot for unwinding after a day of theme park adventures… or if you’re simply taking a break from the poolside Moonrise Bar.
Luna Bar is located at the most northern point of the lobby at Universal Terra Luna Resort. They are open from 5PM to 12AM daily.

Each of of the drinks under the “Lunar Libations” menu are named after the different moons found in the Milky Way. Here’s what we tried out!
IO | $16
Hendrick’s Gin shaken with yuzu liqueur, lychee, falernum syrup and fresh lemon juice. Served over a large ice cube.
The presentation is lovely, complete with a little star anise. Ryno really enjoyed this drink — the combination of yuzu and lychee puree was unique and refreshing. He noted it could have used an extra dose of gin (always), but this one is highly recommended for your nightcap selections.
NEBULA | $16
Los Siete Misterios Doba-Yej Mezcal shaken with St-Germain Elderflower liqueur, lemon sour, fresh grapefruit juice and topped with sparkling pink grapefruit soda. Served over ice.
Carrying the space theme, this drink is finished with a dehydrated slice of grapefruit and black salt rim. With each sip, the slightly-tart flavors of grapefruit are forward, then the Mezcal smokiness hits you. It’s a well balanced blend. This one surprised Hannah; she loved the Nebula and would order it again!
LUNA | $18
Weber Ranch 1902 Vodka shaken with Braulio, Patrón XO Cafe, cold-brewed espresso, simple syrup and dusted with bittersweet chocolate and a mist of spearmint oil. Served up.
We tried this same espresso martini at Stella Nova Resort a few months back. However, we noticed the “mist of spearmint oil” was a sort of secret ingredient over there, versus it being stated in the menu description at Terra Luna. That said, I feel there was more mint in my glass than I originally enjoyed. This isn’t necessarily a bad thing, however, it started to steal the spotlight from the rich coffee flavor. I did enjoy the shavings of bittersweet chocolate on the top. I love you, little chocolate coffee galaxy. Given the forward notes of spearmint, I would maybe order this again during Christmastime… or it does make for a great post-dinner breath mint. How’s that for a nightcap?
