HHN is almost here, which means we’re getting our first look at what we’ll be eating between haunted houses this year! Universal Orlando has previewed several food and beverage items coming to Halloween Horror Nights 35, with plenty of menu references tied directly to this year’s houses.
HHN officially begins at Universal Studios Florida on August 28, 2026, running select nights through November 1. This year’s event features 10 haunted houses, including Sinners, Stranger Things 5, Hellraiser, Evil Dead Burn, and Ozzy Osbourne: Prince of Darkness, alongside Universal’s original houses.
We love a good theme. Once again, the food is getting in on the horror! Among the new dishes is Annie’s Juke Joint Catfish & Grits, which appears to be inspired by Sinners, along with the Slide Guitar Smash beverage. There’s also a Rigatoni Ritual Pie, following up last year’s spaghetti and meatball pizza.

Stranger Things fans can look for El’s Battery Jerky, served in a retro “beef jerky” can, alongside the Hopper’s Recharger drink.

For Evil Dead Burn, Universal previewed the Lasagna Burn, while Hellraiser gets appropriately gruesome with a Pleasure & Pain Brain dessert and Cenobite’s Kiss beverage. (Missed opportunity for Cenobites Cinna-Bites? Maybe it’s still to come…)

Ozzy Osbourne’s house also gets a dessert with the Prince of Darkness Cake, a nearly all-black cake topped with chocolate frosting and a bat. Its accompanying drink is appropriately named Black Rain.

Other items shown include Birria Pizza Fries, a Torn to Shreds Pork Sandwich, Fritos Walking Taco, and a wonderfully gross Meat Grinder Red Velvet dessert that looks like ground meat coming directly out of a grinder.

With Jack and Oddfellow returning as major players for HHN’s 35th anniversary, we expect even more event-specific food to come. Universal has only given us a preview for now, with the full HHN 35 menus and food locations coming soon.
