Universal Orlando Resort has announced the return of its destination-wide holiday celebration, running November 14, 2026, through January 3, 2027. Guests can once again enjoy seasonal entertainment, festive décor, and holiday traditions across the resort, with a few new additions arriving this year.
The biggest update for 2026 is at Epic Universe, where two of the park’s newest lands will celebrate the holidays for the first time!
Christmas in The Wizarding World of Harry Potter
Holiday festivities will once again take over all three Wizarding World locations across Universal Orlando.
Experience seasonal decorations and themed entertainment in Hogsmeade at Islands of Adventure, Diagon Alley at Universal Studios Florida, and Place Cachée in The Wizarding World of Harry Potter – Ministry of Magic at Epic Universe.
In Hogsmeade, The Magic of Christmas at Hogwarts Castle returns, bringing projection effects and holiday music to Hogwarts Castle during a nighttime show inspired by moments and characters from the Harry Potter films.
Grinchmas Returns to Seuss Landing
Grinchmas will once again transform Seuss Landing at Universal Islands of Adventure into Whoville! Catch the Grinchmas Who-liday Spectacular, a live retelling of How the Grinch Stole Christmas, meet The Grinch himself, and explore the festive Who-Ville Tree Lot throughout the season.
Universal’s Holiday Parade Featuring Macy’s
At Universal Studios Florida, Universal’s Holiday Parade featuring Macy’s returns for nightly performances; featuring oversized Macy’s balloons, themed floats inspired by Despicable Me, Shrek, and Madagascar, along with classic holiday characters. Each evening concludes with Santa Claus lighting the resort’s Christmas tree.
New Holiday Décor Comes to Epic Universe
For the first time, holiday decorations will arrive in SUPER NINTENDO WORLD and How to Train Your Dragon – Isle of Berk at Epic Universe.
Universal has not yet shared exactly what guests can expect in either land, but seasonal décor will make its debut throughout both areas during the holiday season.
Meanwhile, Celestial Park will once again transform into a winter-inspired setting with illuminated trees and holiday-themed fountain shows at the Cosmos Fountain.
Universal Holiday Tour Returns
If you’re looking for a more in-depth holiday experience, you can book the separately ticketed Universal Holiday Tour. Available on select dates from November 14, 2026, through January 2, 2027, the approximately 2½-hour guided experience includes:
- An exclusive meet-and-greet with The Grinch
- A meet-and-greet with Max
- Reserved seating for the Grinchmas Who-liday Spectacular
- A visit with Santa Claus
- Optional reserved viewing for Universal’s Holiday Parade featuring Macy’s
The tour starts at $69.99 per person, plus tax. Annual and Seasonal Passholders can save $10 per ticket.
Holiday Fun Beyond the Parks
At Universal CityWalk, the popular Green and Red Coconut Club returns with seasonal décor, specialty cocktails, and live entertainment throughout the season.
Universal’s 11 on-site hotels will also celebrate with holiday decorations, themed dining, tree lighting ceremonies, menorah lightings, strolling carolers, and other seasonal activities. Hotel guests will continue to receive Early Park Admission and complimentary transportation to the parks.
Holiday Vacation Offers
- U.S. residents can save up to 30% on stays of five nights or more at participating hotels, with additional savings of up to $300 when booking a vacation package with theme park tickets. The current “Get 2 Days Free with a 3-Day Ticket”offer is also available.
- Florida residents can purchase a 2-Park Unlimited Days Ticket starting at $199 plus tax, valid through December 16, and can also save up to 25% on select Universal hotel stays.
