New Captain Cacao Meet & Greet Coming to Epic Universe

It’s finally happening! Captain Cacao, an original character from Celestial Park inside Universal Epic Universe who quickly stole the hearts of many, will begin meeting and greeting guests THIS week!

Universal Orlando Resort announced via their social media that Captain Cacao will start appearing in Celestial Park on May 22nd, the one year anniversary of the opening of the park.



The marshmallow stars have aligned

Captain Cacao has arrived and is ready to meet you at Universal Epic Universe! Be sure to find the Captain in Celestial Park starting May 22nd.

Since the park’s 2025 opening, Captain Cacao has appeared on merchandise and treats inside Moonship Chocolates & Celestial Sweets, a confectionery shop in Celestial Park. He’s a lovable bear who embarks on interstellar adventures, sailing the cosmos in search of delectable treats. 

The official story of the candy shop goes:

Find treats collected by young adventurer Maya of the Skies and her navigator, Captain Cacao. Together they fly their moonship, searching high and low for otherworldly treats to bring back to their shop in Universal Epic Universe.

From apparel to drink ware and plush backpacks, you could pick up your own piece of the adorable Captain Cacao. Now, he’s reached another level of original park icon with his own meet and greet! Are you ready to visit Captain Cacao?
