Guests visiting Universal Epic Universe now have one more reason to stay until park closing. Beginning tonight, Universal Orlando Resort officially debuts Universal Celestial Goodnight, a brand-new nighttime spectacular designed to end each day at the park with an unforgettable celebration.

The new show takes place nightly at park close in Celestial Park, transforming the heart of Epic Universe with an impressive combination of synchronized lighting, dancing fountains, music, and fireworks.

According to Universal, Universal Celestial Goodnight features nearly 600 synchronized light fixtures, more than 350 fountains, and an incredible seven million LED lights, all choreographed to a sweeping musical score inspired by the adventures found throughout Epic Universe.

The nighttime experience celebrates each of the park’s immersive worlds, from the colorful fun of SUPER NINTENDO WORLD and the soaring dragons of How to Train Your Dragon – Isle of Berk to the spellbinding streets of The Wizarding World of Harry Potter – Ministry of Magic and the eerie creatures lurking within Dark Universe. The show builds to a spectacular fireworks finale, giving guests one last memorable moment before heading home.

Universal says the new production is designed to serve as the perfect ending to a full day of exploring Epic Universe’s attractions, entertainment, dining, and themed lands.

The nighttime excitement won’t stop there.

This fall, Universal will introduce Universal Nights at Epic Universe, a brand-new limited-capacity after-hours event taking place on Saturday, October 3, and Saturday, October 17.

The separately ticketed event will give guests the opportunity to experience Epic Universe after dark with access to attractions, entertainment, character encounters, and more. Complimentary specialty snacks and beverages will also be included with admission.

Universal Nights will officially run from 9:00 p.m. until midnight, but event guests will be able to enter the park as early as 7:00 p.m., allowing them to enjoy attractions and catch Universal Celestial Goodnight before the exclusive event begins.

Tickets for Universal Nights at Epic Universe will go on sale August 13, with prices starting at $179.99 plus tax per person. Universal says additional event details will be announced in the coming weeks.

With the addition of Universal Celestial Goodnight and the upcoming after-hours events, Epic Universe continues to expand its entertainment lineup, giving guests even more reasons to spend an entire day, and now the evening, exploring Universal Orlando Resort’s newest theme park.
