Universal Closing Early Due to Tropical Storm Nicole
After closely monitoring weather conditions, Universal Orlando Resort has made the decision to close the theme parks and CityWalk early on Wednesday, November 9. Instead of a normal closing time, the resort will now close at 5:00 pm. Volcano Bay has been closed all day.
Tropical Storm Nicole is expected to impact Central Florida overnight, so Universal is anticipating a phased and delayed reopening on Thursday, November 10. The hotels will remain operational to take care of guests currently staying at the resort.
Areas of Universal Orlando Resort can be prone to flooding as seen during Hurricane Ian earlier this year, so Universal will update once they assess conditions from the storm.
