The Circus McGurkus Cafe Stoo-pendous is located in Seuss Landing at Islands of Adventure and offers quick-service dining for lunch and dinner plus over-the-top theming and even an attraction rolling through the restaurant. Circus McGurkus is also home to the Grinch Breakfast character dining during the holidays AND now a very special Mac & cheese bread cone you’ll want to check out!

The menu consists of sandwiches, pizza, and salad with the option to Mobile Order and have your food delivered to the table. Just outside the circus tent is also a walk-up window for ordering “Fantastic Funnel Cakes” with fun toppings.

Circus McGurkus offers plenty of seating that feels like you’ve stepped into a circus tent straight out of Dr. Seuss’ book “All Aboard the Circus McGurkus”. You can also see The High in the Sky Seuss Trolley Train Ride pass through the restaurant every few minutes and provides great entertainment for kids. The large seating area also makes for a great place to cool off in the air conditioning and refill your beverages using the Coca-Cola Freestyle machines.

Even though the Trolley Train and bright circus colors are pretty stimulating, there are large booths throughout to cut down on some of the distractions. These private booths feel like a nice reprieve from the busy Seuss Landing and are a great spot for kids to see the attractions and characters just outside.

And now for the moment you’ve been waiting for, a new Mac & cheese cone at Islands of Adventure! Universal’s Mac & cheese cones were made famous by Hooligan’s Grog & Gruel inside Isle of Berk at Epic Universe. While different than the hand-held versions at Epic, you can now find pasta bread cones at Pizza Predattoria also at Islands of Adventure.

Morris’s Mac-nificent Mac & Cheese Cone – fresh baked bread cone, hand breaded Buffalo chicken nuggets, creamy cheddar cavatappi pasta, ranch sauce – $19.99

The serving size of this Buffalo chicken Mac & cheese cone is massive! You’ll carb overload and need a nap in one of these brightly colored booths. Unlike the cones at Epic Universe, this version is literally half of. a baguette and is nice and fluffy. There is plenty of chicken and the Mac & cheese is surprisingly good- very creamy and rich. If you’re a fan of buffalo chicken, you’ll want to try this one!

For your “Little Ringmasters”, there is a little bit of everything on the menu including the same Mac & cheese from the bread cone. I was really surprised to see the same green sugar cookies served during the Grinch Breakfast! Despite their color, these cookies are the perfect sugar cookie – sweet and soft.
Marvelous Mac & Cheese – creamy cheddar & cavatappi pasta served with crinkle-cut fries and a green sugar cookie – $9.99

Epic Universe completely changed the game for Universal quick-service and I’m so glad to see that trend continuing over to the legacy parks like Islands of Adventure!
