Universal Finally Announces the Jurassic World VelociCoaster

2020 keeps getting weirder and weirder. Universal Orlando’s best kept secret has been the roller coaster being quietly built in Jurassic Park, but now the cat’s out of the bag. Universal Orlando’s official website has finally confirmed that there is definitely a roller coaster being constructed at Islands of Adventure and it will be the Jurassic World VelociCoaster and it will open in 2021. There aren’t any extra details beyond that besides saying you’ll”feel the rush of the hunt as you race through the jungle alongside raptors.” Hopefully we’ll get a peek at the construction soon, but for now we’ll just wait.

And for those who can’t read through the sarcasm, the roller coaster has been built in plain sight for months and months now at a rapid pace with no one at Universal Orlando officially acknowledging its existence. At least now we know it will open next year!
