A Celebration of Harry Potter will not return to Universal Orlando in 2019
A Celebration of Harry Potter was an annual event fro 2014 to 2018. Over the years, fans were able to experience Q&A’s with film talent like Michael Gambon, James and Oliver Phelps, and Evanna Lynch. Paul Harris, wand combat choreographer, returned to show fans the basic steps of dueling. MinaLima showed off some of their favorite designs from the Harry Potter films and The Wizarding World of Harry Potter. Kazu Kubuishi demonstrated how he illustrated the 15th anniversary Harry Potter book covers for Scholastic. Kids could learn to dance like a Beauxbaton and fight like a Durmstrang. Also, fans could be sorted into a Hogwarts house, pose for a moving picture and buy exclusive merchandise at the Celebration of Harry Potter expo.
