Bigfire Now Open at Universal CityWalk

There’s a new place for you to try out on your next trip to Universal Orlando! Universal’s newest original concept restaurant, Bigfire, is now officially open at Universal CityWalk. The restaurant aims to bring the nostalgia of long summer evenings at the lake and open-fire cooking in a unique dining experience.

The two-story restaurant is made to feel like you’re stepping into a lakeside summer house using a variety of natural design elements. The restaurant is large and expansive, but at the same time it has a familiar coziness to it. It has the vibe of a place that you want to stay and relax in.

The heart of the restaurant is a wood fire grill where the signature items from the restaurant are cooked using a variety of woods to help elevate the American fare on the menu. Whether you’re looking for trout, bison, or a classic steak, Bigfire has it all. Beyond the food, they also have concocted interesting cocktails, including an Old Fashioned made with a blend of Woodford Reserve that is exclusive to Bigfire. Dessert is also taken to the next level with table-side s’mores and more.

We had the chance to attend a preview of Bigfire during the Hagrid’s Magical Creatures Motorbike Adventure media event and while we don’t review food during a preview like this, the menus has us intrigued to return quickly now that the restaurant is open. If you’re heading out to Bigfire, let us know what you thought and we’ll have a full review of the restaurant soon!
