In addition to the previously announced Stranger Things haunted house coming to Halloween Horror Nights 35, Universal Orlando has now revealed a brand-new live entertainment offering inspired by the hit Netflix series. Titled Stranger Things: Return to Hawkins, the new show invites guests to revisit memorable moments from across all five seasons.
Universal describes the show as:
The music. The monsters. The memories. In this show, tune in to a special WSQK broadcast and relive your favorite moments from five seasons of Stranger Things.
Because the show spans all five seasons, we can likely expect callbacks to some of the series’ most iconic moments, from Eleven’s first encounter with Mike, Dustin, Lucas, and Will, to battles with the Demogorgon, Mind Flayer, and Vecna. Pivotal scenes from the Upside Down, Starcourt Mall, Hawkins Lab, and the emotional highs and lows that have defined the series could all make an appearance.
Universal has not yet shared where the show will take place or what format it will take. Though, the promotional artwork and description leave open the possibility that it could be this year’s nighttime lagoon show. Additional details, including the venue, showtimes, and what guests can expect, will likely be announced closer to the start of Halloween Horror Nights 35.
