Universal Stella Nova Resort & Terra Luna Resort Info Guide

A lot of attention has been thrown towards Universal Helios Grand Hotel coming to Universal Epic Universe because the 500-room hotel will overlook the park. However, Universal has an additional two hotels coming to the Epic Universe area. Universal Stella Nova Resort and Universal Terra Luna Resort were first revealed back in December 2023 when they became bookable on the Loews Hotel website. Universal has finally revealed even more details about the two hotels opening in 2025.

First off, Universal Stella Nova Resort opens on January 21, 2025 and Universal Terra Luna Resort opens on February 25, 2025. Like the rest of Universal’s hotels, they are brought to life by the Universal Creative team and are co-owned and operated by Loews Hotels & Co. Each hotel will have 750 double-queen rooms sleeping four guests meaning 1,500 rooms total. The price point starts at $147 per night, plus tax based on a stay of four nights or more. As of now, Universal Epic Universe hasn’t revealed an opening date, so the hotels will most likely open before the park celebrates its grand opening.

Universal Stella Nova Resort is “inspired by the infinite vastness of the unknown universe, and the wonder of what lies beyond our world.” The hotel will be highlighted in serene teals and calming purples to provide a feeling of ease. Quick-service dining will be available at Cosmos Cafe and Market. The 10,000 square foot pool area will include a relaxing hot tub, comfortable lounge and table-top seating, a firepit, and more. The Galaxy Bar and Galaxy Grill will be serving burgers, quesadillas, and salads by the pool. You can also unwind at night with classic and specialty cocktails curated with unique ingredients at the Nova Bar in the hotel’s lobby.

Universal Stella Nova Resort will have the normal Universal Orlando Resort hotel benefits like Early Park Admission to Volcano Bay and The Wizarding World of Harry Potter up to one hour before the park opens, complimentary shuttle bus transportation, resort-wide charging privileges, complimentary merchandise delivery, and more. The hotel will have a complimentary, state-of-the-art fitness center, locker rooms with showers, game rooms with standard arcade and video games, 1,000 square-foot multi-purpose recreation rooms, and a Universal Orlando Resort Store that will probably feature Universal Stella Nova Resort merchandise.

Universal Terra Luna Resort is “inspired by the thrill of exploring the unknown, pushing the limits of discovery, and stepping into new landscapes.” The hotel will be accented with fresh surroundings and terrestrial greens and golds. Quick-service dining will be available at Omega Cafe and Market. The 10,000 square foot pool area will include a relaxing hot tub, comfortable lounge and table-top seating, a firepit, and more. The Moonrise Bar and Moonrise Grill will be serving burgers, quesadillas, and salads by the pool. You can also unwind at night with classic and specialty cocktails curated with unique ingredients at the Luna Bar in the hotel’s lobby.

These hotels may seem far from Universal Orlando Resort’s CityWalk, Islands of Adventure, and Universal Studios Florida, but they’re not. Located just minutes away, these two hotels will open up a lot of availability for staying on-site at Universal Orlando Resort and will become an even more affordable way to stay in the fun when Universal Epic Universe opens in 2025. Start thinking about booking a room now if you want to stay at Universal’s newest hotels and stay tuned for more information soon!
