VIDEO: Jurassic World VelociCoaster Queue Tour + Preshow Videos

The hunt is on! Jurassic World VelociCoaster is the new species of roller coaster at Universal Orlando Resort. The attraction reaches speeds up to 70 miles per hour, heights up to 155 feet, and so much air time that you’ll feel like you spend more time out of your seat than in it.

The attraction is located in the Jurassic Park section of Universal’s Islands of Adventure, but blends in wonderfully with the rest of the land. If it wasn’t for the branding and characters inside Jurassic World VelociCoaster, you’d think it was completely cohesive with the rest of the area. You can also see the coaster from most parts of Islands of Adventure, so it’s hard to get VelociCoaster off the mind.

The story of the attraction goes that a roller coaster was added to Jurassic World to give you the chance to join the hunt alongside the Velociraptors. You can see the entire interior queue and easter eggs in the video above. There’s also an exterior portion of the queue close to the waterfront and Mosasaurus roll. Everything can’t go completely as expected, but the attraction itself is pretty much near perfect. Jurassic World VelociCoaster opens officially on June 10 at Universal Orlando!
